A free IPTV player for Android TV, Google TV, tablets and phones. You bring the provider, seefax gives you a proper TV guide, live scores, film ratings and reminders. No ads, no account needed.

Installing on a TV

Two ways, both quick. On the telly, open the Play Store and search for seefax, then install as normal. Or if typing on a remote makes you want to throw it, open the Google Play listing on your phone, hit Install and pick your TV from the device list. It installs over the air and turns up in your apps row a minute later.

First launch asks for your provider. You can paste an M3U or Xtream Codes link straight in, or scan the QR code with your phone and fill the details in there instead. That second one exists because typing a long URL with a D-pad is nobody's idea of an evening.

Phone and tablet

Same app, same install. It is built remote-first, so on a TV it behaves like a TV app, and on a phone it behaves like a phone app. Sign in with the same account on both and your providers, favourites and history follow you around. You do not have to sign in at all if you would rather not.

Fire TV and other Android boxes

seefax runs on anything Android 8.0 or later, and Fire TV is Android underneath. The snag is Amazon does not carry the Google Play Store, so there is no one-tap install. Sideloading is the usual route, and whether you do that is your call. Generic Android boxes with Play installed work the same as any Google TV device.

What you need before it is useful

seefax is a player. It ships with no channels, so it needs a playlist from a provider you are legally entitled to use.
