Terms of Use

By installing or using seefax you agree to these terms. The most important thing to understand: seefax is a media player. We don’t provide, host, control or have any knowledge of the content you access through your provider.

Agreement to these terms

These Terms are a legal agreement between you and ENineApps, the developer of seefax. By downloading, installing or using the app you confirm you’ve read and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use the app. We may update these Terms from time to time — continued use after an update means acceptance.

What seefax is

seefax is a media player for Android phones, tablets, Android TV and Google TV. It does not provide, host, broadcast or transmit any content, has no relationship with any IPTV service, and doesn’t know what you’re accessing. It does connect to providers you set up yourself, play the streams they make available, and store your settings on your device. It’s much like a web browser or VLC — a tool that plays content delivered by others. Any paid upgrade unlocks app features only.

Your IPTV provider

To watch anything you must set seefax up with details from a provider you’ve obtained separately. We have no affiliation with any provider. You’re responsible for making sure your provider holds the necessary rights, that your use complies with their terms and the law, and for any fees involved. We strongly encourage using only licensed, legitimate providers.

Acceptable use

Use seefax only in line with these Terms and the law. You must not use it to access content that infringes copyright or broadcasting rights, that breaches your provider’s terms, or that is unlawful where you are. seefax is designed for use with legal IPTV services — it isn’t intended or marketed for unlicensed or unauthorised content.

Copyright & intellectual property

All content you reach through your provider belongs to its rights holders — seefax has no rights in it and any infringement is your responsibility. The seefax app, design, code, name and logo are our intellectual property; you may not copy, modify, resell or reverse-engineer the app except as the law allows.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, seefax is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We don’t warrant that it will meet your needs, be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any content reached through it will be available, accurate, legal or of satisfactory quality. Nothing here affects your statutory rights under UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law we’re not liable for the content you access through your provider, for any loss from using or being unable to use seefax, or for indirect or consequential damages. Where liability can’t be excluded, our total liability won’t exceed the greater of what you paid us in the prior twelve months, or £50. Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Indemnity

You agree to hold ENineApps harmless from claims, losses and costs arising from your use of seefax, the content you access through your provider, your breach of these Terms, or your breach of the law. Any claim against us related to your use of seefax must be brought within one year.

Third-party services

seefax uses third-party services for certain features (Firebase by Google, TMDb and Simkl). Your use of those through seefax is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We’re not responsible for their availability, accuracy or conduct.

Accounts

Creating an account is optional. If you make one, you’re responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under it, and you must tell us at privacy@seefax.tv if you suspect unauthorised access. You can delete your account any time from Settings → Account → Delete account — immediate and permanent.

Termination

We may suspend or end your access if we believe you’ve broken these Terms or the law. You can stop using seefax any time by uninstalling. On termination the rights granted to you end immediately, and the sections on copyright, warranties, liability, indemnity and governing law survive.

Changes to the app

We may update, change or discontinue seefax or any feature at any time, with or without notice, and aren’t liable for doing so.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Questions? Email hello@seefax.tv.
